4th & SwiftExcellent restaurant!Fantastic food, fantastic service! What more could you ask for?5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMInnovative menuThe menu choices are exceptional, offering both a market menu and a seasonal menu5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience.Great dinners. My duck was well prepared. Dessert was great.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat placeGreat place, great food, a little of the beaten path but definitely worth seeking out!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful as alwaysWe have been to 4th and Swift several times and it is always wonderful. The food is very good and the service is outstanding! I highly recommend it.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place was terrific. WeThis place was terrific. We chose the chef's pris fix offering with pairings and were very pleased with the decision. The food was both excellently prepared and beautifully presented and the wines selected were a perfect compliment to each course. The renovated industrial building provides both interest and character to the design of this beautiful restaueant.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMVery, very good meal. We wereVery, very good meal. We were seated on time. The service was great and not over bearing. The restaurant was quiet. I thought the prices were10% too high but we enjoyed our experience very much. They had a great bourbon and whiskey selection which I appreciated. the complementary birthday dessert was good too.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMExtra SpecialThis restaurant was recommended by a true Atlantan with excellent taste, high standards, and gluten intolerance as an option for celebrating our son's graduation from Tech. We were pleased beyond expectations with the service, variety of menu and wine options, and beautiful ambiance for such an occasion. Chef Jay personally congratulated our son, which made the experience even more memorable. The wait and kitchen staff are extremely accommodating when it comes to gluten intolerant guests, so you can be certain to enjoy a gourmet meal with no worries. We were also delighted to see two of our new favorite dessert cordials offered on the menu: Calvados and Eau de Vie Poire Williams!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was deliciousWent for a dinner with 6 (3 adults and 3 teenagers). Food was very good - everyone commented on how delicious it was. Enjoyed fried oysters, salads, yellowfin tuna apps, salmon entrees, wreckfish, gnocchi...Desserts were stellar - english toffee pudding was deemed the best - angel food cake was the worst (not light at all). On the whole the dinner was well executed and tasty and the service was great.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMI love this place!4th and Swift is our FAVORITE restaurant in Atlanta. From the food to the service, we have always had an enjoyable an memorable experience. Our most recent trip included a sampling of the Meatballs, fried oysters and tuna as starters (we had 3 in our party and passed the plates around). My main was the wreckfish, you can never go wrong with the staff's recommendations! Dessert was the standard sticky toffee pudding.
We'll be back again and again and again. . .5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversaryMy wife and I celebrated our 8th anniversary at 4th and Swift. Great food and service!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMLOVED ITWe were in town for business and just hopped onto YELP to find a restaurant... and what a find it was. The food was amazing the service impeccable and the ambience sublime!4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat foodThe food was wonderful. It was a relaxed environment and the server was knowledgable and attentive. It was a bit noisy but that didn't detract from a really enjoyable meal.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMOur group of 4 when thereOur group of 4 when there for our daughters 21st birthday. We had a great table next to the kitchen which was seperated by glass for a great entertaining evening! Our waitress Megan was outstanding asked all the right questions properly directing the evenings events. Would definitly go back.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMReally enjoyed this restaurant.Really enjoyed this restaurant. The ambience was good, the service was overall very good and the food was excellent. We had the lavendar vodka infused drink (well 3 of them) and they were delicious!!! I would recommend this spot and will most certainly be back!!! The burrata appetizer was out of this world!!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI have read about 4th andI have read about 4th and Swift for quit sometime, but it took me a while to finally eat there. I wish I would have come sooner... Wow! This place was amazing. The bar had great variety, the menu was great and the restaurant has a great ambiance. I really enjoyed the "keeper of the trees" cocktail. One of the best bourbon drinks I have ever had. The venison tenderloin and 3 little piggies were both recommended to my date and I. We each got one the dishes and shared and they are both so flavorful and artfully presented. We finish with the English toffe cake and I will be going back just for this. All I can say is if you have been to 4th and Swift and you are thinking about going... Make it your next dinner outing.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was delicious with veryFood was delicious with very unique combinations. The portions are small and the guys in our group wanted more, but that left room for great dessert - their signature warm toffee pudding!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGood, not greatI put this restaurant in the expense account category. While the food is good, it does not stand up to the prices being charged. Gnocchi made with polenta were bland with a thin sauce that did nothing to enhance the feeling of eating little wads of corn - not at all a satisfying dish. The flounder was good but at $33 it should be. The tuna appetizer was the best thing we had while the octopus was just so-so. I will say that the cocktail my girlfriend ordered was exceptional and so we'll likely return for drinks at the bar, and perhaps give Sunday brunch a go sometime since it's just around the corner. The space is great and the service very good if a bit earnest.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AM4th & Swift is another restaurant4th & Swift is another restaurant that we frequent because we know that it will always be great. The thing that stood out to me this time was the split pea soup with kipped salmon - I'm a big fan of split pea soup, but am used to having it cooked with ham. I was unsure what to expect, but it was actually delicious. But that's one of the things I enjoy most about here, that I'll be challenged with something new. So give it a try!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AM4th & Swift has been high4th & Swift has been high on our list of "really want to go there" places. Our first time visit was a special occasion. We were given a comfortable booth. It was early evening on a weekday, so not so busy (which was nice). Our service was excellent, although our server 'disappeared' a little toward the end of the meal. Cocktails were outstanding. Wine list excellent. The lamb meatballs were outrageously good, but the rest of the food didn't make us feverish about returning. We had very high hopes, but a recent meal at Canoe eclipsed this one by a mile.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOur bartender was awesome. Our bartender was awesome. He took so much pride in his drinks and made sure each was just perfect. I highly recommend "Taming the Shrew".4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMOur current favorite restaurantThis was our second visit, this time for my wife's birthday. Everything is top notch and we will keep coming back. Chef Jay Swift even greeted us!4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMHad the chefs tasting menuHad the chefs tasting menu and it was amazing and absolutely worth the price. Also enjoyed two specialty cocktails revenge of the beekeepers. Only complaint was bar service was a bit slow.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious selection of plates.Delicious selection of plates. Excellent and attentive service from everyone.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat amosphere and wonderful food!Had a wonderful experience and the food was outstanding. The serving sizes were 'just right' with each course not being overly petite or overly generous. The brussel sprout and apple appetizer was a favorite among the table. A definite place to return to.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI always enjoy the diningI always enjoy the dining experience at 4th & Swift whether it be business or pleasure. The food is consistently creative, well-portioned and flavorable! I'm a bit disappointed in the level of service, however. It seems to be hit or miss, definitely not as consistent as the food quality.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely brunch cocktails, deliciousLovely brunch cocktails, delicious seasonal plates. I haven't sat on the patio yet, but will soon.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMHigh end southern comfortHigh end southern comfort food in a very relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful attentive service. Couldn't ask for more.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMLooking for a place with goodLooking for a place with good food to celebrate a successful year with work, 4th & Swift did not disappoint. The flavors and textures of all the dishes were great with a delightful wine list to match - in fact, it was hard to narrow down choices with such a diverse menu yet well edited menu. The renovated industrial space evoked charm with the balance of soft accents and nice lighting. We lucked out with a rounded corner bench that afforded a fun view of the other diners yet didn't make us feel like we were intruding on anyone else's dinner (or vice versa). Service was very accommodating - in particular when a glass of red wine took a fall! Overall, looking very forward to our next time back.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThe veal entree was so tenderThe veal entree was so tender and did not taste as gamey as usual. The octopus small plate is fantastic! Not chewy, but soft.
The lamb entree paired with the gingery lentils were absolutely delicious.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFood has been excellent everyFood has been excellent every time I havebeen here. Service s also great.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSaved Island Trip!Delta screwed up our flights and we found ourselves stranded in Atlanta instead of on a small island off the coast of Belize. We were both in island garb (not quite what you'd wear for dinner here) but no problems - we sat in a romantic booth and enjoyed good cocktails (mine a tad too sweet,he LOVED the Modest Proposal) and FANTASTIC food. Stuck to small plates (oh wow, who thought brussell sprouts could be so good?!) and as foodies, felt is was one of the top ten meals we've had. We're not into dessert but ordered the steamed pudding, which was absolutely delicious. Shared our Delta tale of woe with our server and got treated to glass of champagne, along with warm and professional service, which was really appreciated. Go, go, go!4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe only reason we did notThe only reason we did not note hot spot or vibrant bar scene is because we had a very early reservation on a rainy Thursday. The food was fabulous! Good vegetarian choices as well. Put this spot on your must dine list!4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMother than the parking situationother than the parking situation this place is fantastic!4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have eaten at 4th & SwiftWe have eaten at 4th & Swift several times before. Every server has had the perfect blend of menu knowledge, attentiveness and only being present when you needed him. His menu recommendations were excellent and the food was creative but not clever for clever's sake. It is one of our favorite dining spots in the entire city.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMHighly enjoyable experience.Despite a slow start (long wait between receiving the menu and having the order taken), once the food arrived the service was much more attentive. The food was flawless and superb. Recently returning from 14 years of living in England, I was curious to try the sticky toffee pudding that was offered for dessert. Wow! It exceeded my expectations by miles. Definitely worth coming back for :-) The staff was also quite accommodating when my friend and I needed some directions to a local tourist attraction. The advice was simple, clear, and got us there without a problem. My only quibble: the noise level--the place wasn't all that full, but we could tell that it would be difficult to hear if there were more diners. Three thumbs up!!!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best BruchesWe were in town for the final four and we try to get to as many great restaurants as possible and this place did not disappoint! The only bad thing is that we arrived too early for alcohol. Blue laws still exists in GA. The cinnamon rolls were delicious and the "Red Flannel" Hash was amazing! A must go to for brunch. Wish we lived closer would
live to try this place for dinner.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Brunch in ATLJoseph our server provided top flight service; the entire staff was warm and welcoming from the hostesses to the manager who stopped by to chat and gauge our satisfaction with the meal. We started with the cheese plate and steak tartare, both of which came with housemade flatbread - delicious. Our entrees were perfectly cooked and filling: our brunch service included steak frites and corned beef hash. We slso enjoyed dessert on the house - a personalized anniversary plate for two with chocolate ganache cake and marscapone ice cream. A couple of hot cups of tea topped everything off. All while sitting in our favorite booth. 4th & Swift does an upscale, exemplary brunch every time without fail. Perfect for no occasion or a special occasion.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth a visit!Enjoyed a very nice dinner on a recent weekend evening. Our server, Chris, went above and beyond.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMReally excellent - we justReally excellent - we just had small plates, entrees, and wine - food was well-prepared, the right temperature, and with an interesting and well-matched mix of flavors, textures, and colors. Sometimes food is over the top (chefs stretch too far) - this was just right. Reasonably priced as well.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing Gem!WOW! I had been DYING to try this place and so happy I did! Everything was amazing. I actually got the veggie option of 4 different veggies and OMG the sprouts were unreal and so was everything! We shared a desert that just melted in my mouth! Pricing is not outrageous, reservation was honored and we will be back!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster brunch was our firstEaster brunch was our first experience at 4th and /Swift and it was delightful from start to finish. Our server was attentive but not overbearing, and made some recommendations all that were spot on. The food was fresh and delicious as well as attractively presented. Since it was Easter, there was a fixed prim menu but there were plenty of wonderful choices for all the courses. The atmosphere was relaxed and we never felt rushed. A great dining experience - we are looking forward to returning for dinner. Don't miss the toffee dessert - it was to die for!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellentWe had an excellent time, and the food was excellent3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday Dinner - Great MealI took my fiancé here for his birthday. We went on a Wednesday to take advantage of the Chef's tasting menu... which was absolutely delicious. It was a hard decision to make because so many of the menu items also looked so good. The crowd was light, so the noise was low. I could imagine it getting louder in the restaurant on a Friday or Saturday. The service was excellent and very accommodating. They gave us a special corner booth and a personalized dessert for his birthday. Definitely want to go back again!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLove it!!Just had a most delicious brunch at 4th & Swift. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Atlanta and very resonably priced. I almost never writes reviews but feel obligated to do so for 4th & Swift as a small thank you for continuously delivering a great dining experience. Servers really enjoy their Jo s and have a full appreciation for the food quality and preparation. $20 corkage is another important indication of their interest in a great dining experience. Cheers!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and a changingGreat food and a changing menu, great service. It is a trifle more expensive than it seems like it needs to be....3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWOW!
