Our waiter was on top of his game. He was informative and knew everything about the menu. He was attentive, entertaining, well-versed and made the whole dining experience a pleasure. It's too bad we don't live closer to Key West. This place is a must dine. When we arrived at 7pm the place was practically empty and they had some very large tables that never filled so I dont know whats up with that. Other than that a great place. My fiance and I both had the swordfish which was outstanding. My son had shrimp and pasta which was also outstanding. The mojito was good but a little weak. We ate outside and were able to watch the happenings on Duval.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMSerenity In The Midst of DuvalBagatelle is a beautiful little restaurant tucked away at the north end of Duval Street. Despite the location on Key West's famous bar scene street, you step into a serene and quiet restored old house and feel a million miles away from Margaritas, beer and nachos. Try sitting on the porch and you can have an excellent dinner and people watch at the same time. The food is based on locally caught and locally grown foods and is marvelous. Dining on the outside wrap-around porches overlooking Duval is fabulous, so the ambience is one of the best in Key West. Great spot for more mature diners in a youth oriented area of town. Broad spectrum menu of creative offerings with "right-sized" portions. Wine list was superb. Just as I like.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAfter a few days in the KeysAfter a few days in the Keys and some great outdoor venues, we looked at Bagatelle and almost cancelled our reservations.....an unassuming place right on Duval St....what a mistake that would have been. Our meal, and the waitstaff, was everthing you would want in a fine dining meal We started with the pork belly....melt in your mouth tender and flavorful.
