  The restaurant lived up to its billing. Service is friendly, and timely but not rushed. The manager came to the table to personally ask about our experience. The rest of the staff was polite and gracious. I ordered a sirloin, and it was the best cut of beef I have enjoyed in months. It was served hot, which is a particular fetish of mine, and cooked perfectly. The spinach salad, with its bacon, honey roasted pears and candied pecans was superb.   Had five for lunch and a totally enjoyable meal. Duck and spinach salad was delicious. One in group had special of shrimp, chorizo and grits and loved it. Creme brûlée and warm chocolate cake were yummy. One minor criticism was the cappucino was not hot, but the server wisked it away and returned with a hot one.
