  Moved into the neighborhood last year & people told us to try the Acorn Grille. We absolutely love the views, and the food. However, sometimes underwhelmed with the service. Couldn't figure out if it was bad planning, or poor training, but our servers would disappear forever at the simplest request, "More water." We're pretty laid back, so we went a lot last summer, but talked ourselves out it all winter. Told my hubby had some of the best service ever. Tentative, not invasive, and on top of requests in a reasonable time. Or with a simple explanation. The menu is always innovative and a value for the size, and quality you receive. LORI, was the best server I've had ever at Thousand Oaks....More
