Very goodMy husband & I had a wonderful experience at Massa this past Saturday night. The food was really delicious, we shared two appetizers, the burrata & the braised artichoke hearts (the artichokes were beyond!). For our entrees we ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the rigatoni in vodka sauce - - we were very pleased. The service was pleasant & attentive and we never felt rushed. Also, you can not beat the space, it is cozy & beautiful. We will definitely be back!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMy my what a great experienceThe owner is fabulous, very welcoming, and friendly. Our waiter Carmine was the best they just don't come better. The food was all delicious, it was hard to pick from the menu because everything sounded so good. The presentation made it look very delicious.
Overall the restaurant was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. Parking could be an issue if they are having a large party, but you can park in the lot to Chase Bank on 125, just a shirt walk to the restaurant, and the entrance was not where you would expected! There were many breakfast/lunch items with choice of appetizer and entree on the price fix menu. We ate in the main dining room with fireplace. We had notified Massa and the were totally into helping us with the surprise. They went out of their way to make the surprise happen. It couldn't have worked better. His place was packed...they live music was good...seat was SOS so...they could not give me the seat I requested..but i was not put in a corner..still had a respectful location ...food great..service ...awesome.. We were lucky enough to sit downstairs, right in front of the fireplace. I would recommend the front rooms, not the back room behind the bar. The food was creatively prepared, fresh and delicious. We eat there about 3 times a month and enjoy sitting at the bar although the restaurant area is also very beautiful. On Thursday and Friday nights they have an awesome guitar player/singer! The food is delicious and there is a nice wine selection. Francesco and Joseph (owner/manager) make you feel right at home. We have had nothing but great experiences at Massa and will continue going there.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWarm Surroundings & Very Good FoodDining room is warm and rustic with cathedral ceiling covered in barn wood planks. Also the large stone fireplace adds to the romance. Upper balcony adds a nice dining option.
Service was very friendly and accomodating. Both the infused pinapple and berry vodka martinis were delicious. Appetizers were very good especially the Shisito peppers and the the Aracini italian rice balls. Both entrees (Pollo Martini and Veal Saltimboca) exploded with flavor and were nicely prepared and presented. Both food portions and prices were reasonable. Though the owner/chef was sitting with a customer at the upstairs bar he did take the time to acknowledged us when we left and was even helpful with providing driving directions.

Both plates were excellent. We had our 4month old baby with us and the staff was very accommodating. To start, the bread, olive oil, and green olives were tasty. We liked the Primitivo red wine and the two salads we ordered- -Caesar and Massa. For entrees, we liked the Branzino special and the eggplant parmesan. The entree of rare tuna with cream dijon sauce, on the regular menu, was tasty but a small portion for $34. Coffee was served hot and strong, as we prefer. Opentable.com shows no availability, but Massa cheerfully accommodated me, even honoring my original request on Opentable.com for a quiet table near a wall. The waiter, bus boy, and sommelier provided good service. We enjoyed our two salads, the halibut, eggplant parmesagne, and the pasta with broccoli rabe obligingly served, as requested, without sausage.
