Ryan's GrillSplitsvilleWe found a great description of Ryan's Grill on opentable.com and we were glad we picked it for a special birthday dinner. We sat bar for a couple drinks before our dining experience. The bartender was very friendly. He even suggested a few of his favorite entrees. When we sat at our table and ordered, we told our server that we were splitting spare ribs and meat loaf. When our dinner came out, the cooks had already taken the time to split the portions for us. Most of the time other places we ate at frowned upon splitting our dinners, and would not allow it. Although my boss was fashionably late as always, they were very accommodating. They never rushed us. They never seemed annoyed. Our waitress was very pleasant and very kind to our children. Plenty of space between tables so we didn't feel crowded. The only downside was the large group nearby who kept trying to shout over and out laugh each other. Management identified a kitchen faux pas prior to delivering the entree to our table and handled it with professionalism. No one can be right 100% of the time, it's how they deal with the problems that is important. They comped one of our entrees and added a desert as well. The reservation was for 16, 12 showed up, and the staff didn't even blink an eyelash... They are a wonderful group with great food & an awesome drink selection. I recommend them any chance I get, and have been going there for over 20 years.
