My opinion: most of the sushi restaurants in town are just not great. Too much rice. Small pieces of bland fish. Too much sauce and flourish.
Shuhei is, hands down, the best sushi I've had here. The price is steep, but it's worth it for sashimi that melts in your mouth, and rolls that really are special and focus on the fish. We try to eat here at least 1x/month, and probably get takeout another 1x/month.
The location is a little odd - back underneath & behind an office building - but from the full parking lot and constant in and out of takeout pick uppers, it's clear others agree that Shuhei is outstanding.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food!We have not had better sushi and sashimi anywhere in Northeast Ohio than what they serve at Shuhei's.
