The wine list was impressive, and the patio dining actually felt like a local north Paris restaurant (but with much more space). Service was excellent. It was a great deal. The food and wine was very tasty and creative. First we had a home made fettuccini, peas and egg dish with a Sauvignon Blanc, then pork tenderloin with a cherry glaze (not sweet) and roasted potatoes with a merlot blend. Then finally grilled beef with wild rice and lentils and a Cabarnet Sauvignon. The portions of the food was generous and the men in our party received some extra white wine since they had finished their glasses before the appetizer arrived.The wine maker (chateau tessyer) was on hand to give a small presentation about the wines before the dinner. Its great wine list and ever-evolving menu feature an exceptional variety of offerings...nice for happy hour, nice for a romantic dinner. And here's the twist...doesn't seem like the kind of place that would even serve a burger...and they don't everyday...just Sunday brunch, Sunday evening and Mondays. Their hamburger has been given the title of best hamburger in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine for several years...not just in Dallas...but in all of TEXAS!
