The noise level is just right - it's definitely not quiet, which would make me self-conscious in a conversation, and it's definitely not noisy which would take away from the ambience. Their fish dishes come in two sizes - appetizer and entree. One of our party ordered the dinner size of the salmon and was given the appetizer size. He sent it back and we waited while they cooked a new one and I guess they were in a hurry because they brought it out and it was barely cooked. I felt like fish, but it wasn't on the menu. The server offered to check in the kitchen to see what they had. We found it last Saturday at the Pluckemin Inn: excellent food beautifully prepared and presented, superb, well-timed service. Despite the fact that the Inn was busy, no one rushed us once. The ambiance is lovely, extremely comfortable but beautiful. The wine list was enormous, two veritable encyclopedias of red/white wines, and while not bargain priced, was very fair. Service was discreet, yet complete. Each course of our prix fixe was beautifully introduced to us, along with the perfectly-paired wine with each. The food was a bit overpriced, because the execution of the dishes just werent quiete right. The food was prepared exceptionally well and all courses of the meal were delightful.
